So, MB says change out the diff fluid at 2K on the E63.
What's the going rate at the dealer? Or is it gratis from MB: "Hey, this one's on us, thanks for buying the car."

Or should I just do it at a qualified indie instead?

The 2k differential oil change is actually free, but it's for cars equipped with performance package (P30) option only. You don't need it if you don't have the P30 option.

Thanks for the info. The manual doesn't mention P30, just says "AMG vehicles."
Good to hear it's free. I guess I'm just too cynical.
p.s., looked for P30 pkg but couldn't find any at the dealers on the west coast.
