How about if we roll out from some place on the south side along I80/94 around 7 pm on Friday. I have to drop a car and my dog off at exit 201 about 2 miles off the interstate, as I will need to be down there on the 29th too. But that would be a good place for us to stop and stretch our legs and catch some fuel too(by that I mean a couple double cheeseburgers to tide me over til dinner). Once we get down there we can check in and head to dinner or someplace to just hang out if people would rather do that. I know Jason and Chris have both stayed up here before and gone out once making the drive, and they could show us what Indy is like at night. I know this might not be a trip fit for everyone, that many people have obligations, but I want this option to be out there for those who want to take a great roadtrip for a weekend. Southern Indiana has some really great driving roads I want people to experience.

Ok, I have narrowed down the hotel choices. I am thinking either the Crowne Plaza at Union Station(super swanky train car rooms and close to lots of food choices) or the Embassy Suites downtown(duh, suites, full breakfast cooked to order(really important to me), and also close to lots of food choices(I need that too). Just add $20 for parking, which is the norm there.

As I previously mentioned, Nick and I have been working on an itinerary for the weekend. I will not be posting the itinerary on the forum but instead will be PMing or emailing it out. This will be done by tomorrow evening. I will also include my cell phone number in the PM. I will say that I have confirmed that the Chicago crew will be arriving Friday evening and we will be meeting up when they get in town. The itinerary will include events through Sunday morning.

Second, I vote for Kyle to drive his E63 because since Antero went MIA, we have yet to have an E63 show up to a drive. Jtc brought his to the strip but we didn’t see much of it!
