I came home from the Philippines and my wife surprised me with this great anniversary gift...a 9 week old chocolate lab!

Post those pics in the official MBWorld Dog Thread (ignore the title, it's really a dog thread):

...pup modding...that's a thought...
Thanks guys for all the comments...he has been a great pup so far...the crate training is going well and his demeanor is pretty mellow. We are walking him about 3 times a day and that seems to keep his mellow attitude.
The chewing that comes with pups and labs in general is there but his chew toys are getting most of the punishment...luckily our kitchen table (where he chills while we are at home) has metal/wood legs and when he starts trying to chew them I just say NO and he stops...really great pup!

Are you going to let him ride in your 55? If so, a CF-pattern collar would be a good look -- gotta coordinate! That's one super-cute doggie you got there.

I had Athena, Silver-Blue Great Dane, flown in from breeder in Southern Iowa (dogwooddanes) to LAX, she's in front of avitar pic' @ about 10 wks old, now she's 115 lbs & still growing 1 1/2 yrs old (full growth on Danes is reached somewhere around 2 yrs old) "Atlas" was 195lbs @ peak of health, stood 6'4" when he'd standup on hind legs resting paws on my shoulders to greet me after work.
The reg brown labs are rumored to love water/swimming even more than black/yellow Labs, there is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Labrador (dark brown w/little wavy short hair, they actually have webbed feet)

The little guy does have webbed feet pretty big paws for a pup and I am really surprised at his great temperment...my daughter and niece are playing with him now while I'm smoking a cigar outside with all of them. Life is good.
