2 Heat Exchangers in series

Adding an extra HE to the front will help, but you do need a decent sized reservoir to make a difference, especially if you crank up the flow. EVO Sport uses our power steering units and that is the smallest one I have seen that functions well. I have not seen another kit that does as well with a little one. i am still looking to find something that will fit in the bumper. in front of the radiator but below the actual metal bumper so it won't take up airflow. I'm hoping for at least 2 gallons

In the reservoir the coolant is under pressure. No cooling effect there at all.
It would be worth testing, but I'd wager time in a large enough heat exchanger (Obviously the larger the better) at stock flow rates is probably best. I'll bet flow rates were tested by MB for the inter cooler itself. So simply feeding lower temp coolant at the factory rate should work very well.

I think the heat trapped under hood is the white elephant in the room. The temps I got were pretty shocking.

So, did I read that right, you want to loop another heat exchanger in the series?
As long as the CFM flow is not compromised you will be fine....
