Any of you guys have replica wheels?

I just ordered a set of E63 replica wheels because my stock wheels are scratched and one of them I found out today is cracked. I was wondering if anyone has had any major problems with replicas such as bending or cracking easily?

I'm going to use my stock wheels as the backups. I'm just hoping that the replicas will not be so fragile. I never had a problem with the stock wheels bending or cracking until now.

I cant remember who, but I do recall that there are several people running the CL type replicas on their E classes around here. Havent heard of any problems. Also keep in mind most wont fess up to running replica wheels. Thats probably why noone is really speaking up.
I wouldnt be racing with them anyways. Would be for everyday type driving and some spirited driving a little.
I am really just planning on doing it so I can get my M-concepts touched up in the winter months without having to put the car on jack stands. As I said my stockers were stolen so other then my drag wheels I have no back ups

replica show 35 front and rear

I have seen both 18x8, 18x9 and 18x8.5, 18x9.5 both showed 35 for offset

Replica wheels are fine, I've used them on my last C6 Corvette, & have multiple friends that have been running them on MB's for years w/out a hiccup (any that know me here know I drive my vehicles HARD-CORE) I've had topnotch 3 piece wheels they bent like butter over CA Potholes Vs Reps that took ALL the abuse x 10 & NEVER failed.

I've run Weld Racing wheels on 2 different trucks, they both FAILED w/UN-repairable cracks (Wasn't from off-road abuse, just normal spirited CA driving) then replaced w/Replica's on my current 01' Ford F250 4x4 8" Sky Jacker Lift/ 37" BFG's, I beat the sheet outt've that truck!
w/out a whisper from the wheels, I bent the freakin' frame taking it airborne @ 50mph thru an intersection w/huge dip in street late @ night when deserted, wheels are still 100%

Peeps get too caught up in brand names, I def agree in most cases you get what you pay for, but in the wheel-industry it's another ball of wax, there are safety/weight limit standards to be met, if they aren't these replica wheels would be outt've business in a flash!

I've had more than 10 sets of replica wheels in the past 5 years with zero problems.

I've brought in at least another 15-20 sets of replicas for customers and none of them have ever had problems.

I've brought in 2 sets of name brand wheels in the past 2 years...both sets bent 1 or more wheel within 6 months, unrepairable. Both of these guys are now running replicas & happier than ever.

The roads where i live are horrible. I drive hard & have hit some decent holes/bumps with no bends...i still get out to look once in a while, lol.

If i lived in a place where the roads were smooth, i'd be all over some nice forged wheels. Up here, i'd rather blow through a few sets of replicas & still be under the cost of a "good" set.

I think the quality of replicas has improved a lot over the years as well. Monarchs are beautiful wheels. I make eyeball love to mine every day.

I was told that it will properly fit. I told him my make and model and he said it will have no problem.

2003 S210 3.8L Brabus wagon
I bot a set of Brabus Vs replicas from OEM Wheels LLC in Sarasota, FL and after one year one wheel had two cracked spokes. They could not replace the wheel (out of production they said) so I had to by the replacement from Eurotech. It was the exact same wheel. Took several months to replace. They sit in my garage and I run the original B Mono Vs for three season use. First and only experience on replica wheels from OEM Wheels LLC. Also not driven hard.

A buddy of mine has a 07 E350 with the sport package 18 inch wheels. He has cracked 3 of his oem wheels and went through a number of tires. He also bought a set of the E63 reps. I'll just hope they will be somewhat decent.

Jerryswheels.com has provided great reps, and they get OEM refurbs from time-to-time.
