Post GM Warranty vs MB Warranty?

Hi,
I recently jumped into the E55 ownership world! Pretty pumped up. It's warranty ends on July 14. When I purchased it, I bought the GM warranty with the 100 deductible from the Infiniti pre-owned dealer. It cost 2900.00 for a 4/48k from purchase date. This give me 4 additional years and up to about 80k on the odometer. I had not heard back from Lisa yet. This warranty appears to be the same as the Chrysler one. I've searched the forums on info but can't find anything on the GM warranty.

Lisa finally emailed me back and offered the MB warranty 7/100k for around 5400.00. This, of course, only gives me 3 additional years instead of 4, but it gives me significantly more mileage. I drive about 12k/ year though. It is almost twice the cost....

Question is this: Is the Mercedes warranty better than the GM one with the exception of the 0/100 deductible difference? I'm not aware of any other differences. Or should I ditch my current warranty while I have the chance since the car is still under the factory warranty and get Lisa's?

Thanks Fellas:
Ben

PS. I'd put pictures up of it, but it's just a standard one and would be quite boring to all of you MOD freaks haha.

There's a handful of people on the board that has Chrysler. Then there's also a few of those who can personally attest to how great Chrysler has been in honoring their warranty claims -- some of which are VERY high dollar claims.

The Chrysler warranty also is very mod friendly. The MB Warranty sounds good at first glance, but they are known not to be mod friendly so they might give you problems in the future if you decide to modify the car.
