Has anyone ever pulled A/C codes??

Long story short I needed am A/C condensor. So I purchased one put it in, took the car over to a mechanic who vacummed out the lines and filled the system with freon. However with the sysytem filled the a/c light is blinking red, which i am assuming indicates that the compressor has shut down, probably due to a sensor or maybe the climate control codes needs to be resetted/cleared due to the new condenser...

Has anyone ever heard of/done a climate control reset? Also i would like to know if anyone has pulled a/c codes through the climate control i know there is a way on the w210...thanks

The same thing happend to a mates w211 e270cdi, after he refilled the gas he had to put it on the star diagnostics for the compressor to activate.

Just thought i'd update the thread....

Well I took the car into a Indy who had to reset the A/C electronics due to the fact that when I changed the condenser I unplugged the a/c pressure switch... so FWIW if you see blinking red lights the compressor has been shut down for a valid reason(leaking or faulty sensor). Or If you ever replace a/c parts(like I did) or your are low on freon you will also get blinking red light suggesting a reset(and maybe more freon)...
thanks
hope this will help someone in the future as i was pulling my hair out..
