Spent 2 hours reading the archives and the detailing section and still not sure what to use to keep the inside of our AMG's clean..So how about you guys post what you use especially on the seats..
The problem question is....are the ventilated seats ( holes ) clear-coated or not ?
Leather seats ( with ventilation ):
Leather seats ( w/o ventilation):

I use M-B Cabin Care and Leather Care where appropriate. I follow that up with some 303 for UV protection.
The sponsers of the detailing section of this forum are really good about answering questions and have excellent suggestions. The two i have dealt with are Greg at Detailed Image and Phil at Detailers Domain.

You can use Lexol or Meguiar's leather conditioner on all the seating, dash, and upholstery surfaces on the car.
Make sure you are using the liquid spray, not the cream. You don't want to get the gooie stuff inside the ventilation holes on the seats.

In the archives,it's mentioned Lexol and Meguiar both strip the ventilation seats off the clear coating ? What ever that means...

I use a damp microfiber cloth to clean the seats and dash. I don't put any protectants on the interior of my cars because I don't want to have any sheen on the leather or plastics.
This method has worked for years on all of my cars and there is no cracking or fading on any of the plastics and leather.

I'm not sure what sheen is? Is that shine? If so, thats what I want.

Mother's has an all in one leathercare system that I have been using for years and it works great. I condition my seats twice a week to keep the leather hydrated. Mother's doesn't leave that oily look on the leather. lexol is nasty and greasy as hell.

Now how many of you have just the perforated leather and how many have the perforated/ventilation leather seats ? Have you guys seen/felt any difference in the leather ?
Thanks
