iPhone adaptability
I have heard it said on here that the first few generations of iPhones don't pair up with the iPod adapter to allow music file playback in the E63. So, that brings me to ask 2 questions before I go get an iPhone...
1.) Has the fourth (current) generation iPhone become adaptable?
2.)What exactly is the problem? Physical connection or software issue?

Hi RobDoc,
I have the new iPhone 3Gs and have no problem with the ipod interface in my E63 with the phone. You should be able to see the display on the dash and control it through the buttons on the steering wheel just like a regular iPod.

My contacts didn't sync but everything else worked. I have the 32GB iPhone GS with the latest updates... How do I get it to sync?
Also, does the BT have to be off on the phone to stop sync when out of the car with car off?
