New Chrysler Extended Warranty Plan Provider

These are excellent plans for AMG or V-12 owners!!!! We're paying the same price as would any other E-class or C-class owners.

1) My main SA wants $450 to do the inspection, which I told him it was too much 2) Went to another dealership that said they would do it for free but found out they will not complete the inspection without replacing the L&R valve cover gaskets (after waiting 3 hours at the dealership) 3) Went to a SA recommended from this forum and she will not do complete the inspection unless I get the wipers replaced, an alignment, and the main battery replaced (which she said it is over 5 years old and I could be stranded). 4) I am about to get a transmission oil service from a 3rd dealership and that dealership states they will do it for free but I cannot imagine what will be wrong this time. The car has 59,850 miles and if I keep driving to these dealerships and play their games, I will be over 60K and I don't know how much more the warranty will cost. It is just annoying. Why not just follow the checklist and do the inspection. I will be coming back to the dealership when my car has anything that goes wrong and THEN they can make their money! It should be a lot more money than some stupid wiper, alignment, and battery replacement.

But yeah, you're right. Even if nothing ever breaks and I lose money on the deal, I will sleep better knowing it's covered. The inspection is in about an hour at the Mercedes $tealership, so wish me luck.
Also, FWIW, Mike on the phone told me to go to the MB dealer, not a Jeep dealer. He said they only want the inspection done by MB, so I don't know who told the other poster to go to a jeep dealer, but he might want to call back and ask again. So far, Mike & Co. have been great to me.
I spoke with Michael and confirmed that yes, on cars out of warranty, the coverage extends 5 years from the service contract date, and 70000 miles from my current mileage.
I'm getting an inspection next week. Just need to decide which deductible to choose-- at those prices, it looks like the 7th visit under the $200 deductible plan would start to cost more overall than the $100 plan, not accounting for the time value of money. So, the question becomes whether I will end up with 7 or more visits during the 5 years...
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

If you're still within factory warranty, no inspection required. If you're one of us whose warranty has expired, then they require an inspection. The price of the warranty also more than doubles, so make sure you get in before the end of your warranty, as you'll save thousands.
FWIW, the MB dealer says their standard book pricing for a warranty inspection is 1.5 hours, and they are charging me $185 for it, and gave me a loaner car. They got backlogged and I actually got to keep the loaner on the weekend, which is great since I had to take a road trip and get to put the miles on theirs. Make my $185 back. Hehehe.

My car has just a tick over 60k miles, and is currently under CPO warranty. Does that apply as under factory warranty still?

The MB $tealership actually got swamped and it took them forever to get to my car, so I even got to keep their loaner for almost a week and use it for a road trip. I figure I more than made back the money the inspection cost me. Hehehe.
Mike at CSC is great, definitely a

Anyway, I feel pretty secure with it. Fiat is a gigantic company, and Chrysler itself is in pretty good shape now that they got rid of all their debt and got $15.5bil from the government. So anyway, I think we're ok.
