Electric Supercharger?
Came across this...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=260438339932
Seems interesting if only to provide a decent source of cool air. Also may reduce some of the load the S/C drains off the motor?
For $300 might just be worth while to try it... might even use it to cool the heat exchangers....

as far as cooling the heat exchanger, have you ever thought about mounting a fan or two on it OR spraying something like liquid CO2?

These are a scam. Stay away from these ricey gimmicks. You have a very expensive AMG engine and don't want to put this junk on there and trash it up. This is nothing more than a bilge pump for a boat connected to some tubing. It won't flow the adequate CFM requirements needed to keep up with your engine and will instead serve as a hindrance to intake flow. The fact that there is even a blow off valve on this thing is a joke! I serously doubt that this unit could produce 1 psi on a N/A C240 engine.
I have only seen one electric supercharger that ever actually made boost. It used a turbocharger compressor wheel and housing and was connected to an industrial sized electric motor. It took a whole trunk load of batteries and several alternators to power and frankly was less-impressive than an off the shelf centrifugal supercharger.
