RENNtech 04 E55 Dyno Video
Hello all. For your perusal and amusement...
Here is a link to a dyno video that was performed yesterday morning. The criteria is as follows:
Gear - 4th
Temp - 70*F
Alt - 3500 feet
Baro - 26.48 in-Hg
Humid - 28%
SAE - 1.12
Results:
Peak rwHP - 478.87 @ 5900rpm
Peak rwTQ - 541.19 @ 2800rpm
Modifications:
RENNtech v2 Software
RENNtech intercooler pump
RENNtech 178mm pulley
RENNtech additional intercooler
RENNtech shortie ceramic-coated stainless-steel headers
Dyno Jpeg below. Green run represents stock baseline with ALL perameters within 1% (baro - 26.27, humid - 26%). This run was done in 4th gear with stock ECU speed limiter @ 152ish mph.
Also note: Full throttle was not achieved on the red line until 3750rpm.
If you were to apply a 19% drivetrain loss:
Peak crank HP - 591
Peak crank TQ - 667
Judging by these numbers, would you estimate this DynoJet to be inflating its numbers? It seems pretty high to me (about 10%). Thoughts?

The numbers look very good.... they maybe slightly higher than usual for no throttle body, but these cars usually vary quite a bit on the dyno. I would say overall, you have a healthy E55
