Will these offsets fit on a 05 E55 ?
Will these offsets fit on a 05 E55 ?
Looking at rims and found a place that has exactly what I want in stock. However its offsets are used for a 350z. The size of the wheels are 19x9.5 +17 / 19x10.5 +18 and was wondering if these would fit my 05 E55? Not sure if those offsets would bang against the BBK's?
Thanks!

No longer stock '06 E55, A3 3.2 Quattro, GLE 400d, R107 280SL, Golf Polo
AFAIK you need minimum +31 rear offset, with +36 being "ideal", +31 is ok with 275/35 rubber on 19"/9.5" rims.
You need +36 for 285/35 on the same rims.
Your offsets will easily clear your bbk's but will without doubt trash your wheel arches.. esp the 10.5 rears... you need 40+ offset for those...
Jangy... u r the guru on this ... am I right re 10.5" 's?

rim question/issue
We have a 2001 E55 AMG with new 275/35 - 245/40 tires. Am trying to replace the RIMS. Was sold new rims that are 18" 8.5/35 offset and 9.5/38 offset ... and was told they would fit just fine but not without spacers and longer bolts. I am told that the original size rims are 18" 8/31offset AND 9/35offset.... advice? ideas?

the car would not move even slightly without making a really nasty crunching sound with the new back rear rims on. Front ones had a spacer and still there was a slight whistle sound when I drove.
I've been told that to modify the original wheels would be a mistake because you are trying to fit a square peg into a round circle to some degree.

Sound like Volk Racing wheels to me according to your offsets, used to have that exact setup including offsets on my 350z. I ran the GT-S model, but definitely way too aggressive for the E class
