Lately I see that there are a lot of peeps are from NOVA and MD so I thought that may be it is time to meet up to check out our rides. I know Jay with CL600 wanted to meet in Rockville,MD on saturday 9am, but personally it is too early for me. So What about July 25th around 2pm at Tysons Corner area,VA?
Any ideas are welcome!

it doesn't really matter stock or not, mine is pretty stock also, just would be nice to see other members of mbworld to get together, since we got tons of peeps from dc metro area I think it shouldn't be a problem if we have at least 10 guys to come over.

I'm interested, we used to meet at Tysons 2 when I had my BMW 850Ci, no problems with security. Which car, my CLKBS (preferred) or my SL55 w/030?

every sunday morning in burtonsville there are about 200 plus car people getting together to park and talk about their rides. ferrari, vectors, hot rods, you name it. you should try this meet and go from there.

+1. Alright, I think we have enough interest. Now about a date. What is a good time for you, guys? I saw a post that there is a meet on Sunday 9am, personally, I am still young and like to go out and get home at least by 4am, so 9am would be kind of early to me, so I was thinking 2-3pm, but I need your opinion. I had never set-up a meet before

I'm game for a meet up...Rockville is a good spot for MD and VA guys; Tyson's works also...the Macy's parking lot up at Galleria was a good choice. Upper deck at the corner on say a Wed or Thurs night is perfect....no traffic, parking lower level for rain, still empty down there; close to restaurants etc..etc...all key factors.

I'm not too far from Burtonsville...does this 9am thing over there happen each Sunday morning, rain or shine? If so where/details...thanks...I read that link...looks like this event is moving locations this week...anyone know anything about the new spot...?

How about Tysons Macy's upper deck Sat. at 9am... I know it is early for you but if we meet up at 2~3PM'ish, then I can't plan for anything else that day. You're good, but an old fart like me, with demanding wife and two small boys, I have to get things done early and return to the 'Daddy' stuff for the rest of the day...

Thursday night's cool too. I checked the weather.com, this week's pretty good but next week, looks like rain most of the week. How'bout this Saturday, the 18th??

Tysons Galleria Macy's deck is a good spot, but for us MD guys its a bit early at 9am...and 2-3 may be a bit late for some like yourself...how about 11 or noonish and do a meet n' lunch? just a thought...

FYI

there is also a regular Friday night meeting in the Lowes parking lot near Dulles Town Center, in the corner of Nokesville Rd and Rt 28.

It's been going on for years. It started as mostly Detroit steel, but now you see some Japanese and European as well. A nice German section would certainly be welcomed and get some attention.

Sometime there are idiots on the surrounding roads looking for "kill stories" (), so watch for them and the LEOs they might attract.

i've been attending the Chick Fila car shows on Friday nights. Most are american classics and see more and more imports now. Japanese/German. Count me in for a Nova meet up.

But if we do it at the Galleria 11am is a good time.

Looks like keeping the 25th is feasible for most people. How'bout setting the date to 25th Sat. at 11am at Tysons Galleria II upper deck?? No??
