It's definetly a close race but the 55 is a little quicker and this thread should basically be the answer to anyone's questions regarding the 2 cars. If you have a E55 get a CM30 pump! I wish I can have a rematch with that dam modded 335i that beat me a few months ago! He doesn't have it anymore.

I just want to point out when I raced the stock C63 we were doing tripal digits and slammed on the brakes as we were coming to the light. We were SIDE BY SIDE sliding down on a 2 lane road with little room on the shoulder and there was a JEEP in my lane and I WAS GOING TO SMASH right into him but the C63 driver moved onto the shoulder to give me room to get on his lane to avoid contact. If it wasn't for him doing that I would be in the hospital right now with a totaled car and maybe GOD FOR BID sum1 else injured on the road. Perfect example how RACING is DANGEROUS man. Every1 be CAREFUL.
I'm off to bed fellaz.

Glad u guys had fun.
Just to clear things up on the pump, cm30 was hyped up so much because the old Bosch pump on the first gen 55k failed alot. It was a replacment that worked.
The new bosch pump is just as good as the cm30, perhaps better as it is designed for this application. Both have been flow tested and well... wasn't it determined that they are the same?
so when u say omg that pump made a huge differance, yes it did..on a car with a pump that was failing.
bottem line, the updated pump works more then fine.

i'm curious if the stock C63 was white? i saw a white one at englishtown - guy in his 20s. that was my very first time out with the e55 when i just bought and it had a bad pump, he kept wanting to line up with me. i beat it by a 10th trapping at 109 (SC shut off).

I was abusing my brakes when I was racing the Stock C63 and then racing you 2 hours later. I changed my brake pads to the akebono ceramic pads so I don't know why I wasn't stopping as well. I think it might be time for some new rotors.

I have raced both M5's and M6's and beat them everytime at low speeds. I did race a m6 on a roll though starting 60mph but I was on the wrong gear and had the failing pump, I lost about 6-7 car lengths to 160.

W/out euro launch control on the US models (at least this gives it a chance), No M5 should be racing from stop lights or slow rolls.
The amount of tq the C63 and E55 are putting out for there respected weights, it only makes sense.
I know E55AMGGG04 has already taken out two M5's.

It's hard for many people to believe that the 335i with these tunes is so DAM FAST but it is. I have been in brisk 335 and it pulls like a monster. He was pulling on a E60 M5, I was in the passanger seat on a very low roll start.

I'm going to ask the guy I ran last time to run me again with the M6 just because I know I had a failing pump and I never shifted into gear. I'm 100% if I start at 60 he will beat me again but not as bad as last time. I never ran a M5 past 120 so thats why I havnt lost to one yet lol.
