Found under car??!!
Anyone know what this is? Wife found it where my car parks in the garage. It has a rubber piece attached to a metal piece with two bolt holes. Looks like a mount of some kind....![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Stamped on the rubber piece is ZGS 002.
Found another part number on the other side, definate Mercedes part

It's description is RUBBER PAD - Bracket to transmission
It is a pad that sits inside an exhaust system bracket...and i'm guessing it mounts to or near the tranny.
Nothing to worry about, but i'd get it replaced. I'd guess it's a $10 part.
Do you notice an exhaust rattle?

Never had an exhaust rattle, didn't notice one this morning either. I have had the creaking noise from the front end somewhere that has seemed to disapear as of late.
Well, off to the dealer I go.
Thank you Prodigymb, Busta Riles and Shardul.

Whatever we're tuning!
There is a bracket that mounts to the tranny and this is the isolator that is between the tranny bracket and transmission. The 2 bolts pass through this into the tranny case.
Nice job guys on how fast you solved it!!!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
