-Meisterschaft Exhaust Systems for your E55-
#51
This product is a rip off of Eisenmann. I would never buy a product from eisenhaus. There was a huge law suit with Eisenmann in germany, they found out that their only retailer " eisenhaus" was counterfeiting their own products to sell them and make more money. These fake exhaust were not in fact made in germany but in Korea?
Eisenhaus.com had a huge lawsuit on their hands. They went broke and started a new company called GTHAUS.
Good luck seeking support and or dealing with cracks leaks or what ever. This company is a bunch of crooks importing crap from Korea. I know that it is possible that korea can make good products. I just think that the whole point of this expensive exhaust stuff was because it was hand made and done correctly so in germany. Tested and held up by a huge company that knows what they are doing. Not a bunch of people using molds.
That exhaust is weak....

Here is my take on it...remember...it is only my 2 cents...
Even if it is a "fake", I think it sounds killer either way! Yeah it may be very pricey for a "fake", but who cares...the people buying them are buying it for the sound no?

True, but if you buy your girl a fake Loui and it falls apart in the mall as she is walking!

From all the pics I have seen of many different meisterschaft exhasts, the quality looks pretty good. I have yet to read about a meisterschaft exhaust fallin apart.

Meisterschaft is a different brand to Eisenmann. We carry both brands. Their Mercedes systems is totally different from each other to call them a fake Eisenmann copy.

Of course it is - now. We all get that. But that doesn't change the fact of how the two companies interacted. Eisenhaus was the US distributor for Eisenmann, and started selling Korean knock-offs (now known as Meisterschaft) as genuine Eisenmann. Eisenmann severed the relationship, and Eisenhaus renamed itself, made its products look different, and here we are today. Which company acted with integrity, and which didn't?

That eisenmann system looks much different from the Meisterschaft (Korean?) exhaust... for one, it looks like the eisenmann is using one-piece pipes whereas the Meister has 4-5 welds per piece.
If this really is a Korean fake, I'd still buy it if it was significantly less expensive than the German Eisenmann version. But $2200 compared to $3000 is not 'significant'. Maybe if it was $1000ish. Considering it's just rear mufflers, this is pretty ridiculous. You could build your own from Flowmaster/Borla/whatever for $400.
