Distronic Display help
My 2005, with the distronic engaged does not give the display with the car and ft..etc on the cluster. It only shows the MPH digital read out as I scroll the menu I don't see this option but the distronic works fine as far I can tell.

Do I need the STAR with developer mode to check the settings? Also is it possible the car could have lost programming, because the service history shows no repairs being done to the cluster or distronic.

No, all it does is maintain distance when the cruise control is engaged and the distronic is turned on with the switch next to the shifter, you and the wheel allows you set the distance, but no display on the cluster. STAR pulls no error codes.

very strange- I once had a problem with mine, but the waring lamp was working whereas the distance control was not. At the least I guess you distronic radar is still ok (which are BIG BUCKS) so I suppose showing it to a Main Dealer wouldnt cost too much.. sorry if I wasnt much help.
