Maybe not the same problem..... its only for E55. I used to have E500 and never had this issue before.

hey guys,

i too was settling on the fact that the 55 pulled one way or the other. i recently installed a new set of tires and had a caster and camber bolt kit installed on my car. it fixed my alignment issue, as well as the ****-eyed steering wheel.

part # 000-330-00-18 - $32.38

installed the kit on all four corners...$129.52 total for parts.

hope this helps.

I had my car in the shop a few weeks back, we were trying to lower it when I figured out the left side was riding higher than the right. I to had an alignment before but still pulled right . After we leveled out the suspension it straightened out a bit.

Agreed... Straight as an arrow with the stock wheels. 20s and now the car pulls right. What gives?!

Went to a local shop in SD for an alignment after new front tires and they said they couldn't get it straight without camber adjustment bolts from Mercedes. After the bolts were installed, it is close, but it still pulls. Stock wheels, on "new" tires. Sucks. My C300 loaner was straight as an arrow and was a nice break from always having to keep the steering wheel in check.

Can you go into a little more detail? How was the height adjusted for each of the 4 corners or wheels? I have a 05 E55 Wagon, stock wheels and out of nowhere it is now starting to pull right. Thanks ahead for any response.

That is way too much money... The MSRP on the bolts $15.50 and can be purchased on Parts.com for $10.64. You will need to order 4 (2 per front corner)

Here's the link: http://www.parts.com/oemcatalog/inde...id=67&siteid=2

If you paid someone to do this on "all four corners" you got dooped. The kit is only for the front spring control arm and the front strut arm. They do not make a kit like that for the rear axle.

The reason you order 4 is because you need two per side in the front.

you're right, they're all on front. i never went back to edit my post. i did run the part through parts.com and noticed the same price difference you mentioned earlier. the car was at the dealer at the time and i mentioned it to my SA. although he wasnt able to get the price down to what parts.com had, he did knock off 60.00 from my aligment total. i wasnt entirely happy, but i did get my car back the same day.

So, what happened? Did it fix your pull to the right? I'm keenly interested...

Alright I pulled out two of those bolts from the front the strut arms and compared them to the new bolts. I saw absolutely no deformational/bends/kinks in the bolts but I replaced them with new ones anyways.

That was not the problem though. I figured out why the steering wheel is cocked and the car pulls.

Looks like the metal bracket that holds the steering rack to the front subframe got shifted to the left by about a half an inch or so.

I tried banging it back into place but it would not budge.

In any case I ordered a new bracket and all new bolts/rubber bushings/washers and the car will go in for alignment.

Lesson: Do not hit big drain channels doing 70MPH with your driver's side front wheel.

How did you determine your wheel bearing was bad? Did the car shake or did it make noise?

My 2006 e320 pulls to the left. I had ASCM check and they said it was fine. My steering wheel is also off center. If I center it, it will pull more to the left. The previous owner of the car had it aligned about six months ago (I only had the car for a month). The tires have approximately 1,000 miles on them. I will wait and see when I rotate the tires to see if it corrects itself. I cannot believe that MB cannot do a simple alignment. I had a 1995 Volvo which was aligned one time at 20,000 miles due to the struts being changed. It was never aligned aligned again in over 200k miles with no pulling.

It was making noise like having an old tires and little shake on high speed (over 100 mph)

When I turn left it gets worse, but when turning right it's fine.

Took it to a shop and they told me if it makes more noise by turning left it's the right wheel bearing due to the load on the right side.

I replaced both front wheel bearings.

It was fine for one day and today it's pulling right again the mechanic said I have to change the front tires and it should be fine.
