great runs guys!!!
so close alan! 10s are right around the corner!
i went to the strip today as well but did not fare so well. my launches sucked, i saw the traction control light on every run. my best run was 12.240@118.26 with a 60' time of 2.122 and my best 60' time on my very first run was a 2.061 with 12.338@119.18. my best trap speed was 120.25mph but on the 2 runs where i hit 120 i also had the worst ET and 60' times. i dont get all this stuff. anyone have some analysis and advice they can give me?
all i know is that i need to get some DRs asap so i can pull out some runs in the 11s the next time i go out there. there are a couple more drag days this month.

11's Not!
Well I still have not gotten into the 11's but I did improve my 60' with a personal best of 1.81 and a new trap high for me with a 118.6. My car was making some really good power tonight but for some reason I did not run in the 11's. I even picked up an average of 27mph from the 1/8 mile to the 1/4.
a few of my runs in short 1.83 60' onto a 12.13@118.6 and a 1.82 60' onto a 12.21@117.3 and another at 1.88 60 onto a 12.3@116.8 1st run of the day!
Just a little more work and I may be able to hit a 1.7x 60' on my street tires!
My best race of the night was against this firebird cam, headers and all the noise that comes with it. I got him out of the hole with a .189 to his .346, my 60' was better with a 1.81 to his 1.997 and I even had him at the 1/8 mile with a 10.207 to his 10.232. I crossed the line first but he beat me with a 12.05@128.1 to my 12.17@117.6
Max can keep the west coast quickest stock E55 title (on DR's), but I will take the west coast fastest stock E55 (on street tires) title, and share the country's fastest Stock E55 with the almighty Enzom!![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)
btw I just found out where my car likes to be launched (after 4 trips to the strip and over 20 runs) my last two runs of the night and let me tell you she's got a 119mph in her! STOCK

A Prius because I'm green
Thanks to everyone for coming out it was great to meet everyone. I'd post more but it's 1:27am and I'm tired. Alan still has the flag and rightfully so, he hammered out some amazing ETs and trap speeds! I think he would have gotten even better if they would have put more water down for us to do better burn outs. My last run I couldn't even get them to spin but I spun it off the line...all day I didn't spin my DR's once off the line except then and it was my worse time of 12.050 at 120.395.
My two best times and new PB was 11.586 @122.774 with a 1.704 60' and 11.565 @123.335 with a 1.739 60"
I'm not complaining for just being a stage 1. Videos to come later when I can up load them. My 11.586 came the run before the 11.565 and it came against Alan when he ran an 11.220 @ 129.714, he has it on video so hopefully he will upload that run and post it. It was a good run until the last half of the track where I take pictures of the back of Alan's beast for the Team AMG calendar!
Thanks everyone again for coming out, it was a blast and I hope you all got home safe. When's the next event? Stage 1 record is in my sites!!

It was super nice meeting all of you that showed up today!
![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I had a blast running my E55 for the 1st time on the track. I definitely learned a lot today and can't wait for the next track meet.
I still have lot's to learn about my E55 and these track meets really help a lot.
My 1st run was a 12.84 @ 115.97 which was kinda depressing for me. My best run was 12.49 @ 115.37 (1.91 60ft) which I'm really happy with.
CONGRATS to all the new track record's today, you guys deserve it!

Wow!!! basically sums up today's track event.
In short I just wanted to thank everyone for coming out and hanging with us physco MB guys...LOL! That's really what everyone thought of us haha....until they witnessed how fast we really were
. Everyone, and I mean everyone did great and ran some PB's.
Great job Mike, your car is really a beast and I'm sure we'll be running bumper to bumper really soon. I hope you take my advice and stay a stage I a little longer and get that record. There's no doubt in my mind that it will happen on a cooler day...no doubt. Simply amazing, I would have never thought a stage I with pulley, HE, CM30, and box tune would go 11.55....in summer to boot
!!!!!
Josh, OMG!!! Would have never believed it if I didn't witness it first hand. He has a new 60' record that none of could beieve...1.47
. I'm sure he'll post up his time slip sometime tomorrow.
Mo, thanks so much for the support in trying to get me into the 10's. Sorry buddy but I let you down
. We'll get them next time
.
A special thanks needs to go out to these guys for making the effort and joining us today![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

After a 4.5 hour drive, I just got home right now.... it's 4:45 in the morning
.... Juicee, thanks for the ride my friend ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
This was definitely one of the best track days we've done so far. We had an amazing group of Mercedes enthusiasts gathered together in order hammer their cars down the track.... you just can't ask for anything better
. Temps were around 80 F for most of the day while DA started out around +1700 ft and dropped to +900 ft near the end of the day. Traction seemed on and off for people running street tires, but was really good for the Mickey Thompson group ![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
Alan, I want to thank you and Darren for your amazing hospitality and support in this event. And believe me when I say, it was truly worth it coming up there even if it was just to hang out with you guys. And thanks for the sandwiches, soda, ice, tools, and everything else we got to use
Witnessing your car break into the 130 mph was literally a historic moment in the history of the 55k engine's ongoing power adding mission
. I was so excited about the runs, I actually kept the receipts
Mike, it was great to finally meet you.... and to finally witness that super beast of yours run down the track. The stage 1 record is within your grasp, please don't let it go.
Johnny, Jerry, Ali, Mike, and our entire camera crew.... it was great meeting you today. And Andrew, it was a pleasure spending time with you analyzing some of the runs and comparing the different cars
. Johnny, thanks a lot for the wings & fries man, you are a life saver

STOCK

MO I am definitely getting that stage 1 record! Hopefully soon so I can give Alan a run for his money besides just off the line. Or I'll just stick to the 1/8 mile runs So can anyone confirm the stage 1 record I heard it's 11.47 @ ?? with just a pulley(what size) and HE?
![Tear](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tear.gif)
The next time I go out will be in good weather, not fair, not bad, not decent, it will have to be very good weather. I will go 10's on my next outing...fo sure.
Ahmad....thanks again for everything!!! Your advice on launching and tire pressure really paid off. If it wasn't for both you and Chiromikey I would prolly still be in the 12's...haha. I also appreciate you taking the time to give me a call and help with my launch technique, it was truly appreciated. Yeah, you should definitely go for the record. You'll definitely give me a run after completing all the mods, 82mm, headers, custom tune, rear reservoir, and airbox. Trying to gain a .500 will be both costly, frustrating, and hard. Trust me, I want you right there next to me so we push each other harder and harder. Heads up racing is a blast with similar cars. Next time I'll concentrate more on my reaction time instead of hitting .4-.5's. I just had one goal in mind last night, which wasn't achieved
.
