PM your email address and I will send telephone install procedure - core kit Q6820965 (for comparison shopping, parts.com $92), completer kit Q6820950 (138), then 67875878 (367.15). Include VIN if you want your vehicle's MB datacard listing initial delivery date, factory-installed equipment & codes, etc.

konigstiger,

You've been a big help, thanks - one more question - my SL65 does not have MHI installed, do you know what I need to install it?

Thanks again...

So all I need is part #B6 787 5878 for plug in and play? Took a photo of my middle console and command center. Please help. I also have a 3g iphone on 3.0 software.

It looks like you have the same setup as me -- my understanding is that the puck doesn't work with my car as I'm not wired for the phone.

I did get a Mobridge unit a few weeks ago, but couldn't get it to work after a fairly simple installation -- in fact, it would shut down my COMAND so I'd have no audio controls. I sent it back to the seller, who sent me a replacement which I received last night. I got it to pair with my iPhone 3G, and the iPod worked great - for about 20 minutes. Then it died and went back into the familiar frozen COMAND status. I'm waiting to hear back from DICE to see if there's anything else that can be done or if it's hopeless.

Damn..Connecting my phone on my Lexus was so easy.. I wish it was that simple on the benz... Sounds like this is a pain on the a** so I'm not even going to try.

But good luck guys hope you get it to work.

I had my Iphone 3G paired and working fine (set up by the dealer) and it has been great, but now it has dropped out. Have tried everything I can think of to re-pair but to no avail. I dont suppose anyone can walk me through trying to re-pair with an Iphone???

acb,

It's very easy. There's a button (mine was the mercedes logo) on the bluetooth module in your car. Press it and hold until the blue lights light up. Then search for the device using your iPhone. It will show up and you'll need the default PIN for your device (mine was the numeric equivalent of MBUSA I believe, but you are in OZ so it's probably not the same). Enter in the PIN and the rest is history...

Thanks Marcus. I get this far - asking for the PIN but dont know what the PIN is as the puck was put in by the dealer??? Have tried various numbers that are on the back of the puck to no avail. I might try giving the dealer a call (which obviously should have been the first thing I did..)

Cheers

The only bluetooth pass code I have seen on any MB bluetooth puck is 62872, or MBUSA on a phone keypad. Does your puck look kind of like an SLR nose?

A little off-topic but maybe someone will know how to help me. My car has the motorola v60 phone package, however when I plug in my v60 nothing happens. Its not the mercedes v60 but a standard gsm v60. It says "activating" and a few seconds later "phone off". Car is a 2003 E55 if it helps.

What if you called MB Australia and asked them? I know if you called MBUSA they have a Customer Assistance Center that can answer those questions.

yeah that would be the smart thing to do. probably take 30 seconds to find out, but as usual I procrastinate by posting threads, searching the internets etc to find out on the hope that a white collar office worker like me can still DIY the odd job to do with his car

I think it has to be a Mercedes v60 to work. I used to have it before I changed to the UHI setup.
