Just imagine 10's w/ECU-TCU only add VRP 825 kit & you're sure to see mid to low 10's @ 133-135 mph (just a guess, w/great driver)

DooooEEEETTTTT!!! $14,999 "Buy It Now" I bet they'd take a Best Offer of $10,xxx I have NO stake in this Co. just trying to see history in the making!

oh damn, that be a dream come true!

is this engine the same as the one found in the 65?
what are the differences between the 600 and 65 engines?

No it's the 5.5 liter vs 6.0 liter, the 65 vs 600 other dif's are slightly bigger Turbo wheels and more aggressive cam, though the external airboxes/Intercoolers/overall Turbo size is identical, should net very close results w/VRP825 kit & 105 octane. (the overall Turbo sizing dictates final power output not the add cubes)

A tuned 600 I.E. ECU-TCU sits around 525 RWHP 700 RWTO vs tuned 65 (they only need ECU) 550 RWHP 700+ RWTO VRP 825 results on 600 motor are still in testing...

(I've seen higher/lower results for both simply RENN/Kleemann tuned 600/65 app's these are just averages)

Your worst nightmare...
That is a great find. Too bad even 10K is still a lot for this motor, then you have the headache of finding a decent tranny and all modules to make it work. It is definitely a fun project but very $$ involved. Would love so see this happen.

The grocery list would be long I.E. Tranny, TB, TCU, but the ECU is included...

thanks for the info! i always thought that the 600 and 65 had the same engine but that the 65 were tuned to make more hp and tq. well hopefully a 65 engine will pop up one day!

cant we use the same (oem 55) tranny to make this work?

I don't think the reg 55 AMG Tranny can handle the extra TQ, supposedly they use the upgraded tranny found in the Maybach in the 600/65 models.

I'm not 100% on this being fact...
