My car is making a awful sound and feels almost as if my power steering is leaking when i make left and right turns. I check the PSF and its full and no leaks...what could this be???

More details will be needed to take a stab at this.

What happens if you are sitting still and turn from left to right?

What does the noise sound like?

In general, if the system is full and you are loosing power steering, it is a pump or rack problem.

 

AGREED... If the resevoir is full, then the pump and the steering rack is suspect...

 

It doesnt make the noise when im not moving...It sounds like the whole front end needs WD-40 lol when i turn left or right and its getting worse...just trying to figure this out before i take it in and get killed.

*I am not losing any power steering, its just making a loud moaning sound when i turn and go...

 

mine makes a similar noise but more like a chirping sound tho,I get inconsisntant steering feel sometimes.

car is going this morning for that and the supercharger pump.

 

Oh okay> i would think lower control arm bushings or ball-joint..

 

I hope this is the problem, although i replaced these last year...

I have a bad feeling its something to do with the rack
