My LT's will be going on soon and I'm hoping to see a good 15 rwhp gain over the entire curve. If this happens I'm going smash into the 10's. If not I'll go back to what I have now. It's great to have that option, nothing to lose except for money

E55 (for sale if the right offer comes along)...too many others to list
Alan,
Congrats! I'm in on the MIR event. You would have run 10.9 if the DA was better. Way to represent the E55's. I was watching the temps and was hoping it would cool down for you! Very close my friend! Wish I didn't have school Friday, would have loved to see that trap speed! Damn, that's fast!

whens the next meet!!!
I still cannot wrap my mind around 130 traps from a 4 door sedan. Sacramento is truly fast and I am glad to be around to talk bout it.
always check your coolant caps to ensure under WOT they do not leak. The rear tires do not like being coated with anti-freeze, coolant

2004 E55
I have almost the same engine mods as yourself except for a extra cooling mod that helps me run in the heat of summer. I made 550 rwhp 570 rwtq, it was on the highest dynoing Dyno Dynamics out there.....haha. Maybe one day I'll live up to those dyno numbers.

I also concentrated on reducing my over drive-train loss to the wheels.
Here's a dyno of my 82mm after it was tuned. Please keep in mind that this was the 18th dyno pull of the day so the gains could have been higher.

I absolutely think a 82mm TB is worth it. After I had the TB installed (the day after my baseline was taken) my car was re-tuned by Powerchips and I picked up 18 RWHP.
I also concentrated on reducing my over drive-train loss to the wheels.

And where is the dyno after you installed the NOS and two methanol rockets on the undercarriage?

Alan,
Your car is just a monster!!!! I am still scratching my head on how in the world this E55 traps 130, not to mention in the smack middle summer with bolt ons.....![bow](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bowdown.gif)

Mad props to you guys for setting the bar high. I have sold the bison and moving on to the W211 platform this winter, I had a previous W211 E55 and loved every little bit of the car, well modded as well. The 65 is fast but just something special of having a light weight E.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Keep up the good work.

I'm curious what he has though just a 180mm pulley and HE? I know I'm there I was told the run was done in better conditions than what we had. I need to look it up cause I found out I was over heating my transmission and the Renntech speedshift wasn't working too well. I was burning out wrong so I know I got it for sure. Then it's off to drawing board to catch Alan!

I'll be taking one more shot at my 10's soon and hopefully it happens. I just need to get my launch a little better - 1.58-1.62 should get me there.

I was loading it up too much causing it to get hotter then it should have. I also had it in sport not comfort but I'm not sure how much that would even take away on the car squatting. I know I can get the record I ran it too much back to back after the first two 11.5s and she has never been that hot during runs. It was 20 degrees warmer and the DA was almost 2k more then what he did that in so we will see. Yes I have the Renntech TCU or speedshift for the car and it works great.
