Go with a 178-180mm and leave that 172 at HOME!!!

Do that, then some of us may play the ET guessing game..

I'd say high 11's pretty easily with the 172 setup provided you can hook it up.

A buddy of mine got the 172, mail order LET tune and HE and made almost 50 more WHEEL HP than my Renntech stage I car.

Sorry I didn't update this sooner.

My car made ~440 wheel with Renntech 168mm pulley, renntech box tune and K&N filters

His made ~490 wheel with 172mm pulley, LET box tune, custom made intakes and secondary muffler delete. I doubt the intakes and muffler delete really lead to that much of the HP difference.

The LET stage 1 record (180mm, tune, heat exchanger) is 11.41@120 by member "tracshun."

I would expect 11.6-11.9 at close to 120, traction-dependent.

That seems a little slow. What was your 60ft? Is your car running healthy or was it hot or humid that day.

Im just asking because I ran a 12.2 bone stock.

Seems like somethings off. I want to get a tune and pulley and was hoping to be in the 11.7 and 11.8 range.

My friend (MikesAMG) just ran that 11.55 with a Renntech Stage 1 box tune, 180mm pulley and HE. If he ends up getting his 60' times down to mid 1.6's instead of a 1.738 that record will fall. It's great how these stage 1 cars are putting down so much power!!!! Either way I'm sure you'll have a beast. Just reference some of the most recent runs with Stage 1 cars and make a decision from there.

Let's see if I can respond since all day it's been telling me servers are too busy on here.

Let's not forget that my run was done in 86 degree weather and it's a box tune not a costum like the LET car. The tires were new and I wasn't burning them out so I'm sure next time and cooler weather I will improve that 60'. We will see if the record falls, I am trapping higher than him so I'm sure I have more horsepower. Now if it will just cool down and get close to the conditions he had when he set it. It will be fun to try and get it if not no biggie she isn't staying stage 1 for long.

Na my car is healthy I Dynoed it just to see and with Stage I RENNTech with 168mm pulley and tune it put down 440rwhp and 520rwtq on a DD. It was pry because it was my first time drag racing and I had almost bald Nittos on the car so traction was a issue.

One's expectations in Connecticut should likely be higher than a similar car in Arizona... or at least I would think so.
