Alright!!! Looks like you guys are starting to get the ball rolling. I was just looking at the forecast and it seems like things will be cooling down during that week, high 70's to low 80's. We'll see as the day gets closer.
I'm really glad you guys are making the efforts to come on over and break some records. It just sucks because now I'm going to look slow when compared to AZ fast boyz
. Hopefully after my header install and re-tune it won't be too embarrassing

I wouldn't call your car slow. My car is just about ready to race. without making any set time guesses. I think my car will run a bit faster than 11.75 with the new mods, better weather, and no transmission slip.
I want to make it out to this event much like Mikey. Its just going to come down to all the pieces lining up for us.

I'm really counting on my header install and re-tune to break me well into 10's. It just scares me because I'm messing with something that is already working, but everyone agrees that it should run stronger than my system now....time will tell.
I really hope things work out with transportation because I would love to run along side you guys. You both are phenomenal at launching your cars at I could learn a great deal...

Well, some slightly bad news for me. My whole passenger side of my car was keyed from bumper to bumper, even my door handles. Right now it looks like my car will be in the body shop. I will know more Thursday when I meet with the insurance adjuster and the body shop.

I just got off the phone with the body shop and it looks like its ASAP or some time in October for the work to be done. These guys do some great paint work and I dont want to miss out on the small window I got.. Maybe I will feel better about it in a day or so when my boiled blood cools down.

My friend just got back to me, telling me i could use his Dually pick up and single car trailer to get out to SAC. I got to see what the body shops schedule looks like.
