Hello everyone,
This is just a feeler for another track event. A couple of SoCal MBs may be heading up to Sacramento Raceway on Friday, September 4th for an all day test and tune session. It will be freezing cold with a DA of -3000 ft and we'll spray NOS in the air
..... okay not exactly, but weather conditions will be decent and it would be a good time to get some more practice in before our winter events start at Famoso in November.....
Alan, Mike, Johnny, Jerry, Ali, Juicee (I know he's always in), Sal & Rick (you guys missed the last one), Sean (come on up buddy, it'll be fun), and everybody else..... what do you say, can we get Team AMG back up there to Sacramento?

if the DA would really be at -3000 ft, i would consider driving from phoenix for this lol. heck, i'd drive hella far for that.
what kind of DA are you expecting? i've never had a better DA at the track than +2800

If you hit 118.7 on the 4th, we will capture the record for the FASTEST stock E55 IN THE WORLD
And your car is already there, it just needs decent DA to break into the 119 mph

I'm always in the track isn't that far from me and I need all the help I can get.

I might be in for this. I was in Grass Valley Sac area last year around beginning of fall and it was stupid cold out. compared to Phx.
I have to see if I can swing it, i'd say I'm 50/50 right now.

Mo....you make me proud!!!! God, I felt like I was the only one who wanted to race at Sacramento, besides Mike. He might even be more of a die-hard than myself...if that's even possible 
. Now for the bad news, at least for me, I don't think I'll make it 
. The family and I have a small get away vacation planned but that might change depending on my wife's work schedule. She has a few deadline due at the beginning of the month. I'll know more in a couple of weeks. Crap, I'll even have my LT's and re-tune finished by then. I guess I'll have to do it before that, my brother is egging me on. The first sign of cool weather I'll be there....

Alan you know I like you buddy but I gotta be loyal to the RT tunes. I say you run that bad boy in the Arizona heat Mikey. Meh about being kicked off, you were born to buck the system! I'm too busy with school to fight for the first 10's. My baby hates me cause she is ready and worthy!!! It's cool how you put family first Alan. It sounds like you and the family are enjoying the summer. I have a feeling you will be joining the speed shift dark side my friend.

Alan is my boy and I totally respect what PC did with his car. She's a beast and I hope it works but let's just say I'm faithful to my RT/speedshift and a certain someone would like to have it too. I hear it's worth .1s and only if he had that last Friday. . I actually had a long talk with Jeremy (pc tuner) tonight and it seems that PC will be having a few new things coming out. I also spoke with James earlier today and he also has some excellent ideas and products coming out in the near future. I'm just glad that the E55 lives on and things are still evolving, performance wise
. Thanks again James and I'll see you on the 27th. BTW...it's a 100% go with PC on the 28th. If you need me to be there a day earlier I might be able to swing it. I still would like to get my Dashdaq / innovative motorsports wideband hooked up. Let me know how much time you need to complete all the tasks at hand. Like always it will be very hectic .I hope you guys have fun on the 4th because I will not be attending. I'll be gone that entire weekend spending time with the family. I just talked with the wife and it's a 100% go. I'll be constantly checking to see how you guys are doing. I'm sure I'll be missed but life must go on....

Thanks Mike but I'll be sticking with my PC tune from here on out. It's sort of hard to get away from a tuner that's knocking on the door of a 10 second pass and ran a 130 mph trap speed. I'm sure the speedshift is great and everything but I wouldn't trade my tune in for anything at this point, except for a re-tune with my LT's...haha. Plus, there's always a way to get what you want, it just takes patience and a few good people working on it . I actually had a long talk with Jeremy (pc tuner) tonight and it seems that PC will be having a few new things coming out.
I also spoke with James earlier today and he also has some excellent ideas and products coming out in the near future. !!!I only have Thursday Friday Saturday off that week just fyi. I should ask James about those mods we talked about. He could give some good info I'm sure about it and maybe think of a way to install it.
You forget I did 6 years playing Army and the last 4 playing Mr. Fed. I have no shame and it wouldn't be the first time I did something like that.

I'm already convinced, I'm going custom R/T tune, its just a matter of when I can drive ~1000 miles to get it done.
10s in a E55 off nitrous will come soon, it's pretty much a matter of when you all hit the track. All 3 of you should have what it takes to get well into the tens Don't make me fly to Cali and take your car to the track benzgal! Anyone heard from nitrous Nate lately?

I'm just glad to see the R/T finally dropped their prices and made it more affordable for most. I believe Ken Rudy said it best, if you have 3 tuners who know what they're doing all the tunes should be within a few hp of each other on the same car. I just can't wait for my next tune, Jeremy is very anxious and so am I. I totally agree that it's just a matter of time before we get to see a E55 in the 10's. I'm sure that we all wish each other the best and hopefully it's done soon. Both Mikey and Angela would have done this already if they just had the time and weather
