Does anyone have a undectable radar built into their E63/55? if so can you give me some advice on where to install, i.e. in dash, etc..and what systems I should be looking at.
I had a 911 with a K40 but that was a few years ago, hearing Escort makes s good system...

I have an older Passport SRX Radar/laser shifter, it has served me well.
In 2004 it was $1700. installed.
The new passport is 9500ci, it cost like $1600. plus install.
My controller is in center console and one led in dash, volume control on console.

There are problems with cars that have park-tronic and dist-tronic

Maybe we could turn parktronic into a laser shifter? That would be the ultimate in a concealed laser shifter. I plan on doing a 9500ci but not until Mid City finishes the interface. Has anyone used their stuff?

I emailed them and they said they are working on it and the cost should be around $450, all and all its an expensive system but since I have been rockin' a V1 for 8 years with great luck except for laser hits I think its well worth it if you plan on keeping the car for a while. Besides its just straight sexy to have it all concealed.
From the research I've done the 9500ci may not be the top performer in every category but it works very well and has some really nice features and that's why I'm going with it. Plus the concealed factor Houston popo don't like to see that V1 hanging on the windshield.

sadly no, its just a hard wire kit so you don't have to run it from a cigarette lighter. They have a "concealed display" but it just allows you to mount the detector somewhere on the windshield where you can't see it and put the concealed display somewhere else. Valentine doesn't have a system like the 9500ci where you would mount the receiver in your grill and the display elsewhere. You could do that but I don't think the V1 is weatherproof.
