We just finished the Escort 9500ci radar/laser interface. It makes the installation completely plug-and-play: provides power for the detector and also provides steering wheel control of various functions including volume, sensitivity mode select, mark location, and mute. Also includes auto mute button takeover: the steering wheel mute button normally mutes the radio but automatically becomes the mute button for the 9500 when an alert occurs. All display functions automatically appear on the instrument cluster display. display can be switched on/off usinf the bright mode feature.

Its a really cool piece and we are very proud of the integration as it allows for a totally stealth installation.

Since this is the 9500ci (custom install) it'll probably well over $2k - the base cost of the unit. It also has radar jamming as part of the package, so I'd caution against blanket purchasing this without considering the consequences that your jurisdiction imposes for jamming law enforcement devices. Heck, even detectors are illegal in some states/counties.

That said, will this work with the 9500i or just the ci?
