Current consumption of car battery (if ignition is off)

Hello everybody, sorry for my poor english,

I have E55 2004 full option (no gps), and I would like to know what is the current consumption of car battery (if ignition is off) and when all modul is shutdow.

Can't tell you the exact current draw because I have not measured it but I can tell you that even when the car is off it still draws enough power that will drain my car battery within 3 weeks time if I don't start it.

Interesting comment aravel.

The first prototype BMW 7 series with idrive had <1week. They though about just turning on the engine to charge the battery. But it would really be a bad day in Finland coming home from vacation at the airport and not only is the battery dead, but you are out of gas.

This problem makes good money for the semiconductor industry. Particularly LLTC and NSM.
