I would not be surprised if we don't even get to the limiter by the mile mark. That shift into 4th at 135 really slows down acceleration. At the 3/4 shift, we are probably already at the half mile mark. *** gearing.

Only saw on Benz running .. It was a SL600 with a Renntech package. custom intercoolers and trunk tank too. Made like 20 runs and came all the way from Florida.

Did learn, that you need to tape up any place wind force can get into and Also tape around wheel wheels to keep rocks from chipping the paint.. Saw a lot of cars getting Rock chips. Porche`s are also bad about loosing thier sun roofs at 180 plus MPH! Tape, tape and tape!

So all the destruction started after I left? Crazy. Did you hit a few thousand butterflies on your way out of there? My mesh grill looked like a butterfly battlefield.

Not in a Mercedes but I went 180 back in 2004 in my 99 camaro - then coasted through at a 172mph after blowing the motor in the camaro at the 1/2 mile mark (Should have been a 185+mph run) These runs were into a 15mph head wind.

Oh well planning on rebuilding and shooting for 1100+rwhp and 220mph in the mile.
