Thinking of E55 Ownership

Hi All,

Sammy here from London England. Your forum appears to be a great knowledge source for all things AMG. A good pal of mine is looking at buying a 1993 E55 and wants to know if there are any major pitfalls to ownership, apart from the obvious thirst for fuel of course! He also travels just 7 miles to the station each day and back and wondered what that would do to the engine. I thought it would be OK as long as he gave it a good blast once or twice a week.

Any info you guys have would be very much appreciated.

DO IT! I think the only thing it will do to the engine is leave it wanting it's to drive the **** out of it on the weekends!

looks for aftermarket warranty at the same time as looking to purchase
