Oh, Thats the problem, 7 mph in the 1/8 seems a bit low. I'm just teasing. Thoses are the 1/8 mile times 7.85 sec in the 1/8th the next set of numbers on the slip should be like 90+ mph

what was your 1/8th mile trap speed during the 115 mph pass
what was your 1/8th mile trap during the 120mph pass

also please post up weather data from each date.

This will help narrow the possible cause of the 5 mph lower 1/4 mile trap.

Nice run Terence! I'm glad you finally broke into the 11's and getting that monkey off your shoulder. Get your tune done tomorrow and email me your results.

Sounds like that low trap is 100% due to your ECU being stock or improperly tuned whilst having a large pulley. You should pick up at least 5 mph with a proper tune.

BTW great job on getting your 60 ft down and achieving sub 12's passes

Nice runs jikjak! Keep up the good work. I'm sure you will get those numbers down. It's great to see people consistently running in the 11s with the 55's

I wouldn't doubt it. Ive seen stranger things happens at the track. 119mph is really high for stock though. But, wasn't that because you spun and got a worse 60 foot then your other runs?

Just my 2 cents. I only count my runs with traction. For example whatever my mph was on my lowest et run. Mph increases slightly with less traction. I'm sure you already know.

So far to date all my records were broken with the same pass. This would be a good indication of a clean run.

my 119 run was on a 2.0 60' with a et of 12.3 (which best the CTS-V,XFR & M5) my 60' ranged from 1.81 to 2.0 that night and my speeds ranged from 118.2 to 119.2. my best overall run was a 1.81 60' with a 12.07@118.65. The 2.0 60' came after the 12.07 run when I was trying to push the launch a little harder trying to get into the 11's on Street Tires!

Once I go drag radials I should be able to run both quicker & faster as I will be able to get into the gas faster than with street tires. It would be nice to run 11.8-11.95 @119.23 to take the quickest title from my bud Max! and beat my own record

Hey Terence. I know when I spoke with you about your track runs you seemed a little disappointed but your car is in the number one spot. You beat out that Renntech Stage 5 car by over a mph .

Like I mentioned to you, find your bottle neck and fix it. The only way to do this is to data log your runs.

ya im going to get my hands on one and see what it can tell me.
theres something going on with my ride, im thinking its heat or pulley related because i noticed the difference in the top end after changing over to the 180mm. it seemed to pull better up top with the smaller pulley and i was hitting 120mph before with that pulley.

on a side note i raced my friends modded gtr last night on a hwy run. i used to lose to him by about 1.5-2 cars and this time i was able to pull about half car ahead of him and it seemed like i was going to be able to pull farther ahead but then we ran out of room!

Adding DR's, you'd definitely go quicker... maybe faster, maybe not - but I'd give it a "probably."

I think most reasonably agree, however, that once you mount up some DR's, you're no longer putting down a "stock" run. DRs are one of (if not the) most effective mods you can do on a 55K car.

Incredible performance, nonetheless.

OP - congrats on the 11's... nice numbers!

What size wheels did you have on your best run?

Best of luck to you. Bring it on buddy! I'll be waiting...

Jikjak, Do you have any cooling mods yet?

Hey Max when you ran 11.96 were you on street tires or drag radials?
