Was looking to buy an e55 seen a few i like just like to ask what is the difference between the e55 and e55k.

The K means its super charged so all E55's 2003 and up will be E55k's.

 

so whats the brakehorse power on the e55 (2003) model.

E55 = E55k...

There is only one car. If you see one referred to as E55"k," it is just a normal E55...

0-60 in 4.18 according to G-Tech RR.

 

so they are all supercharged, same engines everything nothing to worry about

 

E55K (supercharged 469hp) W211 body style



E55 (non-supercharged) W210 body style

 

E55 2003-2006 are all the same, supercharged at 469hp rated

i have seen the w211 style so will all of them models be supercharged

 

what are they worth, 03 reg 80k miles fsh etc etc

 

Some older E55 (2003) have 160mph speedos and newer ones have 200mhp speedos. so there is some very slight changes with the W211 body style as the years went on.

what they like on fuel wise. How much miles does a full tank get you. Seriously want to get one now

 

Get a E55K with the supercharger hands down. You will not regret it one bit. Look for the V8 Kompressor badge on the side of the car thats what you want.

 

The one i seen in the pictures does not seem to have the kompressor badge on, but some guys are saying they are all the same anyway are they

 

How to find a E55 by vin # W210 w/o Kompressor vin # start WDBJF and the W211 with Kompressor vin # start WDBUF. The W210 end 2002 and the W211 is from 2003 to 2006. The W211 63s are the same start vin# but that's 2007 to 2009.

 

Look again my friend, its there! Also 2003-2006 E55's all had 8 pistion calipers up front and 4 piston calipers out back.

 

Its really not that hard , if it s a 2003 or up its a super charged e55 period.....

 

Just go to Edmunds or Wikipedia and look up E55's from 2002 and 2003. They will answer most of your questions.

Assuming it's not a poser car

Best way to make sure is to check the power generator itself just open the hood and see how the engine looks like.

If it looks like this, then it's the S/C one...


Otherwise, it's a poser... LOL.
