Just a quick self intro: I'm new to the MB world, but not fast rides. I got hooked after I drove my friend's CLS 550, which was as fast as my STI and a lot more comfortable. I was going to go back to a P car and was looking for a nice 993, but decided to give MB a serious look.

I usually get the itch for a new car every 12 months or so --The STI lasted 5, as the '08 was a letdown compared to my '05-- so to keep the wife happy, I'm going to buy used this time and let someone else take the first depreciation hit.

I've narrowed it down to either an '05 or '06 E55, but I'm in no rush, the STI is sold and I rent from the local Hertz to get to and from the airport, as I travel about 90% of the time. I know it's just a matter of time before the right car comes along.
