Hey guys im a Noob when it comes to MB i use to be a BMW guy and im in the process of searching for a E55 im almost there i have a couple of people to pick from so im wondering what the the differeces between the 04 and 06 models everyone ive been talking to on the fourms indicated that the 06 was the best build model of the e55's, does the 04's not have the led tail light and all the goodies that come along with the 06? Thanks in advance for all the advice that you can give guy! from a anxious and eager soon to be e55 owner
also any problems that come up with the 04 models?

 

The steering is upgraded on the 05 and up vs the 03-04 but I wouldn't pass up a good deal on a really clean 04 just to buy an 06. According to drag times of all of the stock E55's listed the 04 & 05 dominate the low et's! The four fastest stock E55's in the 1/4 are an 04 & 05...

 

i mean like any problems come up more in the 04 then the 06's? i heard about air struts intercooler pump,

also like body differences between the 04 and 06 like in bmw we have the Pre-LCI e60 with have normal lights and the LCI e60 with have the led rods

 

03-06 look the same from the outside, you will only be able to tell the difference by looking inside.

2003 No Navi, 2004 1st yr of Navi, 2005 & up has the 200mph speedo and Aluminum pedals. The center console also changed I belive in 05 or 06???

 

o0o i c i want navi thats a must heated cooled seats and the alum. pedals were a + becuase then i would have to do it myself like i did with my 5er i did all acs interior

 

You will probably be dissapointed in the NAV from MB...most people say it is worthless.
