Need help getting brakes and rotors

Dealer suggests I change my brake pads and rotors at 50K miles and wants $1800 for my 05 E55. Do I need to take it to the dealer and should I get OEM or aftermarket?

Please help

No need to take it to the dealer. They aren't that hard to do yourself, but if you can't, any independent shop can do it for much less.

Is it true one caliber needs 8 pads? I brought it to a local repair shop and that's what he said.

DON'T pay dealer prices...i'm selling barely used complete front and rear rotors and pads for cheap!
