Escort Radar Hardwire
I've been looking around to find the best way to hard wire my 9500 with the escort hard wire kit and I'm not finding much. I do not want it by the rear view. Any suggestions? wire to tap in, location, routing, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chad

An easier option(sometimes) is to get a couple puller keys from the local MB place and pull the radio head unit out. Then tap the radio's power wire for the radar. It is ignition switched so it will turn off when the car is off.

Same thing with cigarette lighter it is switched power.
Open the ash tray and pull it out and you will see the wire.red and white is power brown is ground.
You can run the wire from the A pillar to under the dash to the cigarette lighter. It took me 20mins to compete the project.
