I have owned my 2009 E63 since mid-june and only run into one other person who owns one. I would love to meet up with a few E63s that have been modded (especially exhaust) to take a look. I haven't heard anything about car meet and greets etc, so I thought I would just ask.

FYI I am in Costa Mesa on the border of the Newport Beach side.

What is HMS? I'm in OC too, and would like to check it out.

 

It is on Beach BLVD just east of the 405. Packed with AMGs and sweet rides all weekend.

 

Is it a restaurant? Is this a tuner? I am still kind of confused.

Im in the OC but no 63 just:

Two 3.8 twin turbos

and

Two normally aspirated small block V8's.

 

OT, but Vic: I played with a Group5 GTR here. It was flat black with CF accents and very loud exhaust. He also had the HREs like Sun ran. How fast are those light to light? He had NO slip at the line, so I assume that AWD really helps in real life. He had STRONG power but would pull off at about 100 each time so we never had real fun. Then he did the usual ricer blow by when all was done. One of the most gorgeous real cars I've seen lately. i was never a big GTR fan but now I am.

 

If its the car Im thinking of, he has a HKS GT570 kit so the car is stupid fast from a dig and should be able to hold its own into the 160's...

The GTR in stock format is super strong from a dig to about 120- it still moves great past that speed but it seems to slow down some or more than expected. Maybe its because everyone expects it to continue its torrid pace set from a dig.

With the 570 kit the turbos are opened up so much better and the car just pulls and pulls even past 140mph.
