Pacific Northwesterners - LET'S RACE! October Test 'N' Tune

Me and nrgy will be meet at Dick's Broadway early in the morning at 7.30 and heads up there together, any local interested to do caravan together?
Work was a b1tch the past 2 weeks so needed to put in some family time.
Thinking of dynoing Saturday at Carb Connection in Kirkland with a buddy who has an IS-F, Jeep SRT8 and z06 Vette if anyone is interested. I can get the details.
I'll post a couple of my slips up tonight. I really need to work on my 60', but so far I am happy with the car, maybe not so much the driver

Man, it was a treat to see that GTR with paper tags effortlessly run low 11's. But then again, it was a treat to watch the AMG's go down the track smokin' Mustangs! And beleive it or not, a few of the exhausts on the AMG's were louder than those mucsle cars!! It was awesome from the stands.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Shango and i both did the custom Powerchip dyno tune and i must say we are both very happy with the results. i love how my car drives now, its so smooth and refined when driving in the city but when i hit the gas, its like a caged beast being unleashed. its nice to still have some luxury and performance.
anyways back to the 1/4 mile times. the S55 was able to hit 12.015@117.53 mph ,with a 60' time of 2.146. im sure that with a better launch he would be in the 11s. pretty impressive for a big W220 S class.
i managed to pull off 11.344@124.80mph on my very first run, with a 60' time of 1.795. i hope that i can get my launches to be better and be in the 1.6 second range, that should improve the ET a little bit. im very excited as these are both personal bests for me and it came at the end of the drag season. i wont be able to hit the strip until next year now.
i also want to thank sneakyneon (nick) for coming out to meet us and show us around town a little bit. a big thank you as well for trying out my car and shangos, maybe next time u will hit the 1.6s mark!! how did u do after we left?

as soon as i have time to go back on the track i'll post up a new time!
i want to be the fastest s55 amg
by the way, thanks again bud!

Btw Str8ridin, I didn't realize you filled up with some of that race gas from the 76. It's possible that gas was bad since the 335i was have problems with it too. Perhaps that's why you weren't running like you should.
As far as my times, my best run with a 2.3 60' was a 12.71 @ 117.7. My trap speed went up quite a bit since my stock runs last year, which was consistently around 110. I'm hoping with a decent 60' (ie. sub 2 sec) I can break into the 11s on street tires. I would like to trap a little higher too, at least 120. I kept getting on and off the gas at the start when the tires would spin so I think next time I'm just going to roll away like I would from a neighborhood stop sign and then let it rip.

You BC guys should come down more often. It's always a blast!
