So then no 90mm TB. One thing you want to be careful with in this approach is that the plate is cut at an angle. It will be difficult to replicate this angle when boring out the TB. If it doesn't seal properly then you will have rough idle etc. This is why I stayed away from porting an OEM TB. I am confused on this discussion. Are you taling about the plenum? I am cutting the plenum in half. The back half matches up to the SC and is HUGE. The front may be the 85mm you are talking about. The adapter plate becomes the front half of the plenum.
How is the design you guys are talking about and where is this 85mm bottleneck?
