Repairs Finally done!!!!!
So after a new engine and tons of labor my car is finally done. I took my car to Dyno-comp today and got my car tuned with a Custom RENNtech tune. My car put down 480rwhp and 580rwtq . Does this seem a little low for my mods? (It was about 100 out and it was don on a Dyno Dynamics) The car feels very strong to me which is all that matters. I have to Give big Thanks to Chris at Floored Fab. , Jerry at LET , Richard and Ken at Dyno-Comp . I will be going to Speed World once it gets a little cooler so that will really tell the whole story.

Given that these numbers were made on that specific dyno, also known as the "super" heart-breaker dyno and in 100 F weather, I think those numbers are very impressive
Did RennTech tune the car for 100 octane or 93?
You need to add the RennTech 82 mm TB ASAP to allow the beast to really breathe

It is tuned for 91 octane but Richard was talking to me about the RAD with a 100 octane tune. Ya he told me my bottle neck is the TB , as much as I would love to get a 82mm TB, I'm a little low on Mod funds at the moment , you dont wana know what I've spent on my car in the past month.

Go figure, Both days you go to Dyno-Comp I'm not there lol. 480whp and 580wtq is a good number. You do have to consider the unknown history of the used motor you put in. I hope you tossed in some fresh plugs. I would keep an eye out on your oil consumption make sure its with in reason. Its very hard to say what you really get with swapping motors.
All and All 480whp is stout for 91oct tune. Hold off on the trip to Speedword let it cool down a bit. I promise you you will be heartbroken if you race out there in this heat. I've been wanting to head out there bad, but its not worth the heartache. Mid October is right around the corner. You want that DA to at least be in the 2000's otherwise your going to come home with a slow slip. Plus holding out a bit longer will give you a chance to see how the motor is holding up and how it brakes in to your right foot.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Glad to see you up and running again. We will get some AMG's out there on a friday night and show people what these MB's can do..

Nice to see you back up and running!! Don't bug on the dyno numbers. They are subjective. Take your time and get a feel for your power and mods. Enjoy it now that you broke the seal

yep Ive been enjoying it a lot but today two things came up. first the Check engine light came back on which i thought was on because of the tune then once it got tuned it was off for a little while now its back on. then the ESP light keeps coming on if i drive it for more then about 15 miles the light will come on and if i turn the car off it will go off and will repeat this process??????

Glad to see you back and running . You must have a damn good pit crew to find a motor and instal it, in what seems like a record time!
Very Nice dyno numbers, for stock TB. I know you are looking for that extra mod money but that stock TB is killing your sweet set up!!
Buy used and get it done !
