COMMAND switching on and off...

Wierd right? Coincidence...? maybe a loose contact in the NAV in the trunk or could the cable cause this interference?

If I am listening to the radio, the system will switch off. !0-15 seconds later it cylces on again on the NAV page.
Today it did something even more wierd ... switched off and switched on again in German. The AMG logo on the headunit was gone and the MB badge was there.

I change the language back to english and viola the AMG logo is back etc .....
I recently installed the NAV disc to the latest version but it seems to be corrupting the system.... anyone have a similar experience?
There is no loose connection - I checked - so has to be the firmware / nav software...?

I tried cycling between the two versions but the system seemed to get stuck at some point. Now I have the new version in and running so will see how it goes.
Would be handy to know if there is a way to force an update with the current disc installed.?!?

The pairing between the COMAND and the unit apparently was a bit dodgy (if that is possible) and / or the cradle was not seated properly in its connector.
Either way no COMAND reboots after a removal / refit / re-pairing ..... yet. However I am not holding my breath.
FYI I found the source of the problem via the Engineering mode ... once you in there go to top right "errors" and scroll through them ... out of the 50 listed (I think it only lists 50), 45 of them related somehow to "addressbook" ... Bingo!!! the time / miliage stamps confirmed it.
I had no clue what the other errors related to , but mentioned low voltage amongst the HEX codes.
