AC problem???

Ao, yesterday i sat for the first time on the back seat of the 55 and let someone else drive my car. (was wasted and had a designated driver)
It was a pretty warm night so i had the AC blasting on the rear and notice that instead of getting cold air i was getting straight up warm air.
Now, the rear thermostat was set at low, as was the front one. The front vents cooled fine, but the rear were blowing hot air.
I didn't think much of it, but today i noticed the same thing.
It blows cool air up front and shows no sign of problems, but the rear blows warm air regardless of the temperature setting. I notice that the center tray was also warm and the vents around the doors were fairly warm too.
Has anyone dealt with this program?
Thanks.
