E63 AMG
First run @ track
Just thought I would post my numbers from my first track runs in the E55. I went down with a group of guys to Oreilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. Temp was about 60 degrees. My car has NO mods.

my buddy was running about 111 or so in his E55. The guy in the ZO6 was really struggling getting that thing down the track, I don't think he broke 14 seconds. The C63 was running 13.5s, not sure how fast he was going.

Yes it was a brand new ZO6.
Didn't powerbrake, just raised the car up, smashed the gas pedal and kept it going straight.
It was a pretty good time out there, I'm sure I'll go back.

just kidding. I've run a few modded 55's on this board and have been able to hang from rolls, so hopefully my times would be good.

What was the trap speed on the Z06's runs? At Sacramento I've seen a stock Z06 go from mid 13's to high 11's with the same car but different driver. No matter what ET the car was running the traps were still in the low to mid 120's.

I was the one in the C63 and the z06 was a 2008. The actual numbers we ran were: z06 best time: 12.59 @ 118, c63 best time: 12.88 @ 111. All three of our first times at the track (bigswin, myself and our friend in his z06). My C63 currently has all season tires on it (what was on it when I bought it). All three of us have also only had our cars for a few months (all less than 3). I'm not making excuses, I'm only stating the facts.
Overall, I'm alright with my times. Hoping to improve to mid 12's since I'm all stock in my C63.

...oh i'm sure...he's still getting used to driving it. It's not his daily driver and hasn't had much time behind the wheel.

ORP isen't the best place. Hard to hook up there. I don't think they do much track prep for the test and tune nights. FYI. I ran .4 slower there than another strip I go to..

Hey bro, didn't mean to slight you on the times. I thought I remembered you running in the 13s. The guy in the Z06 must have gotten better b/c he told me when I talked to him he was running in the 14s.
