Big traction problem
I need some advice from the high HP guys. I cant hook the back tires up to save my life. I need a tire in the back that can handle power. I wouldn't even mind a competition tire for street use at this point. any one have experience with NT05's or Toyo Protex R888's? Anything at this point is better than my Nitto 555's . Although not a bad tire it just cant grip with big power.
I feel like I'm back in Boston in the winter time except its 85 out and sunny.
I know nothing will totaly solve the problem, but if I can cut down on the issue that would be good. No joke I'm braking the back end out at highway speeds if I romp on it. I might just add sandbags in the trunk.

Time to just go NITTO drag radials.. You know that is your best solution. Invos or NT-05s will help but you know deep down in your heart that it is DR time..

I know I'm really thinking for some DR's for the street. I cant let anyone drive my car, as I worry they will end up in a ditch. I dotn care if the tires last 10k miles. I just want to go strait without my rear end passing my front end.

Exactly, anyway you chop it up. With the power you're pushing. You will need a stickier compound tire. Might want to consider BFG drag radial. I have found them to superior to the nitto drag radials. Also, getting the car to squat will help plant the rear tires and apply more power to the ground. Not sure if you have a really stiff setting on you suspension. But, every little bit helps.

The Nitto 555 street tire is an old model... old design, old compound, etc. I'd suggest you try the Dunlop Z1SS's, Nitto NT-05's, or Toyo R888's - any would be a huge step up from your current setup. 10k, BTW? LOL... with the amount of torque you're pushing, if you went to any of those (especially the R888), you'd be closer to the 5-7k range 'til they're toast if I had to guess.
Good luck and keep us posted on what you choose.

Out Of Control!!
I run R888's on the street. You can still spin em but are better than regular street tire. The best you can do for the street is Mickey ets treet radials. But hope you dont get caught in a hard rain! And always keep in mind that they are not sticky until they get heat in em
