Once again Sacramento dissapointed!!!
Overall my car perform well but didn't hit the ever so elusive 10's. Maybe during some cooler weather I'll be there. This was done using 100 octane with a 91 custom dyno PC tune.

. I'll definitely try different things during the next full day of racing. 4 hour track days make it really hard to test different things.

You now own the:
QUICKEST and FASTEST E55 in the COUNTRY !!!!!! (non NOS of course)
But you better watch out, as the east coast will run in 2 months..... they're shooting for some good weather and extremely negative DA and may go after your record
. Just hit me up the next time you go and if I'm free I'll definitely be there.

Hey MO, I think I might have beat my old trap speed. Depending on what it was my fastest trap yesterday was 131.38.

. I was getting pissed off just sitting there knowing my tires were cooling off. Here a video of my new personal best trap speed.

We dont have to wait 2 months to run. There is a car here in MD I'm willing to bet will crack tens as soon as we take it to the track
Just put the 82mm TB on it a couple weeks ago and getting retuned. Just gotta find time to go to the track now
It definitely feels like it pulls harder than my car

That is a GREAT accomplishment!

It definitely feels like it pulls harder than my carWhen I first got to the track I ran a 11.15 @ 129 with no ice in the reservoir and 2 hours of driving. I did let the car sit for about a 1/2 hour as I prepped it for racing. Next time I'll try icing down the SC and see if that helps.
There's no doubt Nate's car will be well into the 10's with you involved. If I wasn't so damm against cams and torque converters I would probably be smashing into the 10's by now. Either way I'm very happy with the performance of my car with the current mods. To me this is more then I ever hoped for with just bolt-on mods and at full weight (except for the spare which was replaced with my rear reservoir). Actually I have one thing to do, I'll be adding a race map for the track that will be tuned for 100 octane.
Ahmad, on more question for you. Now that I have my logging system in place I noticed that my AFR's got about .4 leaner using oxygenated racing fuel. Is this okay and how lean would be safe using this type of fuel.
Good luck on getting your buddies car into the 10's.

Look at Nate's numbers: 11.050 @ 124.900, 1.638 60ft, 7.090(1/8et), 97.680(1/8mph)
Please do not take this as a hostile post. I am just trying to understand how 1/4 mile numbers work. I posted track results for my slightly modified GTR (on a different forum) where I also picked up over 30mph on the back half of the track. I was told that my numbers do not add up and the timing lights were likely off. Furthermore, it was indicated that the only cars that pick up 30+ mph on the back half are cars that push nitrous and some that run oversized turbos......... "and this is true along pretty much all car platforms".

Thoughts?

Any oxygenated race gas will make you run leaner. Thats why it makes more power than regular race gas. 0.4 leaner can be ok depending on where you are to begin with. You should be fine

I have no idea why my car runs strong on the back half, whether it's the track or just fast
. Just keep in mind that MB's have been running here for a long time without my kind of success. When the time comes I'll have no problem running my car anywhere. The only thing I could promise you and other members is that I'm not running nitrous. Josh and Mo were there during my runs last time and I welcomed anyone to go through my car. Once again Rock I take no offense to your questions and I'm hoping someone could shed some light on this.

By the way, you need to finalize your 91 tune before chasing the 100 octane race tune.
