You are just right!!!
I am usually in the Porsche Forums (being a Porsche enthusiast/owner for years) and I was just thinking on how different things are there. I just started frequenting this forum recently (just got and AMG E63) and the difference is striking. This is supposed to be about what unites us.
My 2 cents.

Some threads turn funny and we like to joke. And some turn weird and personal like this one, but they are pretty rare. And they don't usually come from long term members. Anyway, you can always step over them and go on to another thread. Just like in real life.
Congrats on your new car!

Ahhh yes! I too love the air cooled but I found my C4S to be cheap since everyone likes the air cooled better. I would really like an air cooled TT but those little suckers command a premium.

The 993 N/A also keep their price although they've dropped recently due to the economy. I have a 993 C4S that's kept its value okay, but was worth more a few years ago. Probably will go back up eventually. Hopefully.
Enjoy your 996 C4S.

Yeah, the turbos aren't cheap. A nice 993 turbo can set you back 70k+

I got my C4S with 54k and Porsche certified 4 months ago for $29800. The car is spotless with the exception the front right fender was repainted for a scratch. It was of course blended into the door as well. Love the NA but would love a TT!

Yep. 220S is completely right.
I have a 1989 modded 930 and a 1995 C2.
Having lots of fun with the E63 now, but my heart belongs to air cooled power (sounds cheesy doesn't it?)
Anyway, I am glad I found this forum and hope to make good friends, especially knowing that we all have basically very similar interests.
Best Regards,
Miguel
