Ok. Does anyone know what would tie in the parktronic lights/beeper, dome lights, ambient lighting, SRS light, ebrake light, ABS light, cycle the HVAC on and off, and turn off passenger dynamic seat when it's on?!? I'm still getting an intermittent "Display Malfunction. Visit Workshop" error. Brought it do the dealer and of COARSE it didn't act up for them. I get it 2-3 times a week. Any ideas?!? Things to check?!? It sounds like the instrument cluster has a short in it..

Oh, and it's a 2005 E55..

visit dealer and see if it's IC problem... if so, then just get brand new CLS63 IC from MBenzNL at a bargain price...

You could also take pictures of the malfunctions...make sure it is date/time stamped. Sometimes dealerships just want proof.

Ok am I missing something here? Is this a common problem?! And the cluster just means time to get rid of the car?! I only have a 3rd party warranty through easy care..

ask dealer what that means first...
i'm not sure if that means cluster needs to be replaced or not...
if so, then 3rd party warranty should cover this...
