I think this would be the tranny upgrade needed:

Thank you very much. That's definitely record breaking DA.

No upgrade needed. I have been harder on my car which is heavier than the SL and have yet to have a single transmission issue. I would recommend trying to find the exact cause of failure instead of assuming an upgrade will be the soltuion. It may break the upgraded version just as easily.

Hey markocl65 couldn't help notice your sig about your supra. I think there is a guy named Ryan Woon who's supra ran a 8.37 here at speedworld in az?

What's more amazing is these supra's run on the stock 6 speed with almost double the hp, and somehow hold up to the abuse Is that saying something about toyota or mercedes

When are you coming to Chicago? Why aren't you at the track today? Are you getting "soft"?

I might head out there in the spring...getting married in S. America in December.

I had some meetings at work in the AM. Kind of pointless to head out there now...

I am getting "soft"... around the middle...speaking of which...any Fogo de chao lately?

Awww man, that was some of the best air available to. He said he was trying to borrow some dr's. Was hoping someone out there with a 6 would step up and help him out. Oh well at least he got a taste of the good stuff. He's hooked now.

Actually, the DA kind of stinks for late October at MIR (more humid than usual). I bet the 12/5 MIR rental sees between -1,500 and -2,000ft DA.

they are all season too. I just got back from MIR. Ahmad ran 10.9 before I left.
Mine was extremely slow with 12.9, probably need to get better tires or at least reset ecu

Checking in from Chipotle......

Indeed, I ran an 11.55@120.26 and an 11.57@119.6. The 60's were 1.79 and 1.80, respectively. These were Conti all-seasons.

All my other runs were high 11s or 12.0s. The car was spinning the tires when full boost hit in 2nd gear. This car is achin' for some drag radials.

Nice driving bud! Hold off on Drag Rads or your car may be achin' for a new tranny like Camdon
